It's getting hot here! I can definitely tell that summer is beginning! The sun has a different quality during the summer in Phoenix, AZ than in most other places. We lovingly call it... oppressive! We've been lucky so-far - it's the middle of May and it hasn't hit 100 degrees yet. It's been 99, but not 100 and yes, that single degree does make a difference!
We've drawn a winner for our May Giveaway and notified her yesterday. We're waiting to hear back from her before we post it everywhere! I hope she's in town -- she's not going to want to miss it! We'll keep you posted on the winner!
In the meantime, I wanted to share some more of my mom's beautiful work with you! Here is a Kaisercraft Desk Frame that she altered with an older Graphic 45 collection - Renaissance Faire. I love all the detail work she put into this - from the lace ribbons, flowers and bling to all of her fussy-cutting (which she hates!) Take a look:
Altered Frame - by Grandma (Lori)
What's nice about this frame is that it can be used either on the front view...
or the back view...
or both! Mom decorated the front of the frames with photos of the people on the paper and left the backs undecorated so you could put your own pictures on them! What a clever idea!
Here are close-ups of the flowers she used:
I love this and may have to tackle one of my own! Thanks for sharing mom!
We have more projects to share, more new products and more giveaways! Stay-tuned!
Happy Crafting!
Mom this is awesome!! I love this!!
