Merry Christmas!

Well, this is it. I must say, I believe I bit off a bit more than I could chew. What a crazy last three weeks it has been! This is where I've been putting most of my decorations that I posted on the blog. These decorative walls are right by the staircase. The front door opens up to this wall, so I thought it was the perfect place to showcase all of my projects!

I want to thank all of you for hanging in there with me and posting when you got the chance, but there were a few of you that stand out in my mind. You three were posting since the beginning of my crazy countdown offering kind words to all of the projects! A big thank you to: Kimberly S, Joanna and Anna Jordan! I was going to have a drawing between you three to have a grand prize winner, but it's Christmas after all and the season has either made me very giving or even more crazy than I already am!

So, that being said... CONGRATULATIONS to all three of you! You will all be receiving something very special from us in the mail! Merry Christmas and thank you again for being such great fans of Generations Crafting!

Let It Snow!

We won't get much snow here in Phoenix, AZ, but we can dream of a White Christmas with Bo Bunny's absolutely gorgeous limited edition Snowy Serenade collection! I got a lot of help on this one! My daughter made the candy tin and my mother-in-law made a beautiful 3-D snowflake! I made the winter decor using a Kaisercraft Album page and the gift bags (I needed two more!)

I just wanted to mention to my mother-in-law just how grateful I am that she took the time to make this stunning snowflake for me. Not only did she do an absolutely wonderful job on it, she actually thought of me when she saw it on the web! I'm so appreciative that it makes me want to cry! So, thank you Margie and any time you would like to create something for my blog, just let me know! Now that all that mushy stuff is out of the way, check this out:

She made an entire tutorial to go with it that I've put in the Project Ideas category. There are even pictures of her progress as she completed it! Check it out!

Here are the rest of the projects (that pale in comparison to her lovely snowflake) made using the Bo Bunny Snowy Serenade Papers and Embellishments. There are also touches of the Petaloo Dazzlers thrown in because I LOVE the bling! Enjoy!

Tis the Season!

Holy cow! Can you believe Christmas is in 10 days? Why does it seem that it comes so quickly every year? I still have so much left to do! I've at least got some of my presents wrapped and under the tree. Remember those fun candy boxes all wrapped up and stacked three, four, sometimes five high? I've always loved those - and not just the candy inside! That was the inspiration for my stacked gift boxes created using the Bo Bunny Tis The Season collection. They are just plain decoupage boxes that I covered with paper. I put some fun embellishments on the top and wrapped them all up with Double Dot Ribbon. These are not for under the tree! I've displayed them along with all of my other creations on the decorative walls by my staircase. I'll take a picture and post it on Friday when I post the big winners! Enjoy!

It's The 14th Day of Christmas!

Yes, we know how the song goes and there is no 14th day of Christmas. We missed a few days the last couple of weeks because of our busy weekends, so we're making up for it by having one more full week of inspiration and giveaways! Are you ready? Here are some cards and recycled treat boxes made using Kaisercraft Christmas papers and Inkadinkado Mini Clear Stamps. The treat boxes came together so quickly because of the cut-out paper (Bells) and were finished in no time. The cards are not original designs - lifted and modified as I like to call them! I colored them in with Sakura gel pens and added bling from my stash.

The 7th Day Of Christmas

Yes, we've missed days 5 and 6, but we'll make up for it! Here is a Christmas centerpiece made using a Styrofoam tree and the Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses collection. The papers were all cut into rectangles to save time, but can easily be punched or cut into leaf shapes for a more realistic-looking tree. I curled the edges of the papers with my fingers to make them stick out a bit! Straight pins were used to stick the papers to the tree. The star on top was punched and Stickled (of course!) Stay tuned for more inspiration and giveaways all this week!
