There's not much time left!

Happy Friday! I'm always happy for Friday to come along, but today I'm feeling a bit stressed! I'm having a Halloween Party, okay, my kids are having a Halloween Party tomorrow night! I just went to the store to pick up some wonderful treats to snack on and prizes for best costume and games. Hmmm... I wonder if I'm missing anything:

Let's see... we got the invitations out earlier in the week:

I made sure to decorate:

I even made some fun little treat containers for the kids:

I have my costume ready... I think I've got it all covered. I just have the pesky feeling I'm forgetting something! I know what will take my mind off of that! I'll share with you how I made my treat containers! You're going to get a kick out of this! Any ideas what they are made from?

Take a closer look:

Here is the front

Here is the back

Still don't know? I bet you recognize this:

Yes, I did it! The ultimate in recycling! I used a toilet paper roll! All you have to do is lay something heavy on it to flatten it. I used a box with paper in it, but anything heavy will work!

After a couple of days you have the perfect treat tag container!

Cover it with paper and embellish to your heart's desire! You can even make a few of them and turn it into an album! Your friends will get a kick out of it when you tell them what it's made from!

I know what I forgot!! I forgot to tell you that I used Echo Park Happy Halloween for everything I made for my party! I mixed in some Queen & Co., Petaloo and Basic Grey from my stash as well! Now I've remembered everything!

Have a safe and fun Halloween and don't forget to enter our Prima Flower Giveaway!

Prima Flowers & A Giveaway!

Happy Thursday! It's getting so close to Halloween - are you ready? I'm not!

Today we have a little inspiration for you from Designer Sandi Clarkson and yours truly! We've been playing with some Prima flowers and having way too much fun with them! Let's take a look:

Birthday Cards by Sandi Clarkson

Sandi used the gorgeous Bo Bunny Olivia collection and Prima Faience Bradstreet and Emily Flowers to create these three amazing cards! Take a closer look:

Sandi used Olivia papers and Chocolate Ruffle Wrap on this card. Love her placement of the flowers!

Sandi used the Olivia Cut-Outs for a super-quick card! Love that idea!

Simple and elegant!

Sandi wasn't done with those flowers! She created a gorgeous corsage that can be worn on the lapel of a jacket or blouse with some of the Prima Faience Flowers, an old brooch from her jewelry box, a flower she handmade out of ribbon and some lace! Take a look:

Corsage by Sandi Clarkson

Beautiful! What a great way to save some money and have the satisfaction of having made it yourself!

I played with some of the Prima Faience - Cecilia Flowers. I thought they looked nice for fall and paired them with Basic Grey Pyrus in a fun little home decor project. Take a look:

Happy Autumn Pumpkin
by GenCraft (Floren)

I found a large wooden Jack-O-Lantern in my stash that I've had stored for quite some time! I traced around it for the pumpkin shape onto chipboard and my Pyrus paper. I used some Pyrus Chipstickers, Prima Bling and Prima Faience - Cecilia to decorate my fall pumpkin! Fun!

Are you ready for a chance to win some gorgeous Prima Faience Flowers of your own? You know the drill, leave a comment below either about our artwork, what you're working on or how much you love Prima flowers and you will be entered into a drawing to win:

Basic Grey Inspiration

Happy Wednesday! It's already the middle of the week - can you believe it? Halloween will be here before you know it!

Today we have a little inspiration for you from Designer Andra Hoffman. She has been busy with the Basic Grey Wander collection and can you blame her? It's such a fun and versatile collection. Andra used the Basic Grey Wander 6x6 Paper Pad and did a little "scrap-cycling" by putting the packaging to good use! Let's take a look:

Wander Wall Hanging by Andra Hoffman

Wow! Isn't this just amazing? Andra used the Basic Grey Wander 6x6 Paper Pad, Element Stickers, Glazed Brads, Pieces and Rub-ons. She also used Basic Grey Recess Ribbon and some border punches from her stash.

So, what did Andra mean about "scrap-cycling?" This is such a great idea: Andra used the back side of the 6x6 Paper Pad for the base of her wall hanging! She adhered one of her layouts to it and used jump rings to attach the rest of them! The tab is already there and she didn't have to poke holes in her beautiful work! Here is what it looks like:

Neat and a great way to recycle! Thanks for sharing this idea and your lovely artwork with us, Andra!

Stay-tuned tomorrow for some more inspiration and, shhh... maybe a giveaway!

Have you seen the new Glitz?

Greetings and happy Tuesday! Today we have some inspiration for you from the brand new Glitz Design collections! Designers Teri Berrios and Leah Schaeffer have created a couple of beautiful projects with the new collections. Let's take a look:

Altered Frame by Teri Berrios

Teri used the Glitz Scarlett collection for this gorgeous altered frame! She also used a Glitz Stamp from the Distressing Stamp Set #2, Vintage Love Whatnots, some beautiful flowers and a Prima Say It In Crystals bling. I'm loving that Sizzix Chandelier and all the little details that Teri added to the frame!

Love (An Anniversary Card) by Leah Schaeffer

This card is absolutely amazing! Leah used the Glitz Love Nest collection to create this anniversary card for her husband. She stamped with a background stamp from Glitz Distressing Set #2, punched flowers and leaves with her MS Punch, and wrapped that bit of twine around the card for added interest! I love the colors and vintage look of this card!

Be sure to check out our gallery as well as the designers blogs (links on the right) for more info on the products used and the design! And... be sure to check out the new Glitz Design collections in the store!

Spooky Halloween Village

Happy Friday! It's definitely TGIF for me! It's been a long week!

Today we have a little inspiration from yours truly! It's my absolute favorite holiday and I can't let it go by without making something! I picked up this fun 3D house die from Sizzix for my Big Shot Pro machine and I knew that I needed to make a Halloween Village with it - so I did! I used Bo Bunny Whoo-ligans papers and some Element Stickers from Basic Grey and Echo Park. Take a look:

Halloween Village by Me - Floren

Okay, so not so spooky! These are too cute to be spooky! Here are some close-ups:

The house is Bo Bunny Whoo-ligans Batty with some black cardstock from my stash. The striped sticker on the roof and the bat are from the Echo Park Happy Halloween collection.

The house is Bo Bunny Whoo-ligans Dot (both sides) and the sticker elements are from Basic Grey Eerie.

This house is plain black with Bo Bunny Whoo-ligans Boo accents. All of the Element Stickers are from Basic Grey Eerie.

This photo looks spooky! I used a black background and the colors just came out so perfect! Fun!

I have one of those battery-powered flickering tea-light candles. You know, one of these:

...that I put inside the purple house! It's hard to see in a photo, but it's such a neat effect! Can you see it in there:

See it shining in the bottom window? The candle flickers and it looks really cool!

When it comes to Halloween, I'm just a kid at heart! I hope you were inspired to make some of your own Halloween decor and now is the perfect time! All of our Halloween papers and embellishments have been marked down to 25% off retail until they're gone! Quantities are limited, so be sure to stock up today!

Happy Weekend!

Martha Stewart Punch Around The Page

Greetings! Brrr... it's cold here. Okay, cold is a relative term. I live in Phoenix, AZ and it has been rainy with highs only in the 70s. Yes, that is actually cold for us Phoenix natives! LOL!

Today we have a little inspiration for you from Designer Leah Schaeffer using a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page and some Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland papers. Let's take a look:

Happy Unbirthday (Birthday) to You by Leah Schaeffer

Love this card! Leah inked some plain cardstock and used the Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Vintage Lace for the base of her card. She then added that gorgeous image from the Graphic 45 Through the Looking Glass paper. Love that pop of orange lace peeking through! Here is a closer look:

Here is the inside of the card:

Isn't this just too much fun?!

To: Yooou Gift Tag by Leah Schaeffer

Leah used the MS Punch on a piece of Graphic 45 You're Late and layered it with the Mad Hatter. She then added a small piece of Wonderland Classifieds on top. Love the Stickles on the cake! What a super-cute idea for a gift tag! Great work, Leah!

If you haven't already seen it on facebook, we have the new Bo Bunny Fall release in stock and shipping! Quantities are limited, so hurry in and get some today! Oh, and if you haven't seen our facebook page, you should really check it out!

Tim Holtz Texture Fades

It's Wednesday! Today we have a little inspiration for you from Designer Teri Berrios using the new Tim Holtz Texture Fades Embossing Folders for Halloween and fall! I bet you didn't know we had those, did you? Well, we do and Teri has definitely given us a lot of inspiration with these! Take a look!

Harvest of Plenty by Teri Berrios

Teri used the Tim Holtz - Texture Fades Cattails/Pumpkin Patch for this gorgeous card! This card shows the Cattails Folder. Check out all that detail!

Fall Frame by Teri Berrios

Teri used the Pumpkin Patch Folder, which is the other folder in the Cattails/Pumpkin Patch Set. Can you believe that there are two amazing folders in the pack for less than $10 (our price!) I love how Teri cut out just the pumpkins and added glitter glue to really make the embossing pop!

Halloween Cards by Teri Berrios

I love these fun Halloween cards! Teri used the Tim Holtz Texture Fades Halloween Words/Cobwebs for these gorgeous cards. There is so much that can be done with embossing! You can leave it alone, rub a file or ink over the raised design to make it pop or add in some glitter glue!

We hope you were inspired to try a little embossing of your own!

Stay-tuned for even more inspiration!
