Grandma Home Decor Project

Here is a project that my mom (aka, grandma) created for herself that I thought would make a perfect Mother's Day present! I just wish I would have thought of it!

By the way, I wanted to congratulate my mom for a job well done not only on her projects (wait until you see them all), but for her weight loss efforts! She started near the beginning of the year and so-far has lost 31 pounds! Way to go, mom! I hope she doesn't mind that I post it for the world to see, but she should be very proud of herself. It's not easy to do!

Now on to her fun project!

Grandkids - by Grandma Lori

This was hard to take a photo of because of the glare I kept getting, but you get the idea! Mom used an old album from her stash as the frame. I think the papers she used are Basic Grey. She added some chipboard flourishes from her stash that she painted brown and lacquered for the sides and top of of the frame. She used photo corners to hold the pictures of those very attractive children (lol) in so she can change the pictures every year. What a great idea!

Here is a close-up of the top:

Too funny, mom! I love it! But, can't you just see this being the perfect gift idea for a fun-loving and very devoted grandma? Great job, mom!

Stay tuned for more projects!

Happy Crafting!
