Design Team Inspiration with Queen & Co!

Happy Friday! This is it - the end of summer vacation! I can hardly believe it. Where did the time go? I will be back on school schedule next week! I know many of you still have another month or so of summer vacation left, so enjoy it while you can!

I have a little Design Team Inspiration for you to kick off your weekend! Designers Andra Hoffman and Leah Schaeffer have been playing with the Queen & Co. Wild Things collection and have created some really fun layouts! Check it out:

Mountain Views by Leah Schaeffer

Leah saw "camping" when she saw this collection and decided to create a couple of layouts from her recent camping trip to Yosemite National Park. I just love how her title fit so perfectly in between those trees on the paper! Here is a close-up:


That raccoon she created with her Cricut is too cute and works perfectly with her theme!

Nuts 4 Nature by Leah Schaeffer

Here is another layout Leah created using the Queen & Co. Wild Things papers. I love the earthy feel of this layout - perfect for her theme!


Here is a cute little critter with a large acorn Leah added to conceal her journaling! Isn't this just the best idea?

Helping Papa by Andra Hoffman

I love all the green in this layout! The perfect background for her theme! Everything just comes together so well on this layout! Checkout how Andra used her i-Rock to outline her journaling - it really helps it stand out and gives the whole look such a nice finishing touch.

9 Months by Andra Hoffman

I love the contrast of the colors in this layout! The added bling on the 9 adds the perfect finishing touch and I just love this picture of Andra's grandson! Isn't he just too cute?

Bo Bunny!

You thought I was going to forget -- didn't you? With Bo Bunny, not a chance! Before we get to the sneaks, I thought I'd share with you a couple of altered projects I created using Bo Bunny Jazmyne and Bo Bunny Peacock Lane. It's always a tough choice which Bo Bunny collection to use. I simply love them all! But, since I was making these for other people, I decided to use these collections! Take a look:

Altered Mini-Bookcase by GenCraft (Floren)





I love the Jazmyne collection and this is perfect for my daughter - the purple lover! I thought this would look nice in her bedroom! She can organize her "collections" into little bottles and place them on the shelves! The mini- bookcase is by Kaisercraft. I painted it that lavender shade and then covered it with the Bo Bunny Jazmyne papers. I simply love how this turned out and so does my daughter!

Altered Trinket Box by GenCraft (Floren)





So how often is it that you can make something for one child and not the other one? You mom's know exactly what I'm talking about! I made this trinket box for my other daughter using the beautiful Bo Bunny Peacock Lane collection! I also added Basic Grey Kioshi Pops and a Prima Butterfly to the top. I loved this one so much it was hard to give it away! The Trinket Box is Kaisercraft that I painted a dark shade of purple. I used the Peacock Lane Cut Outs for the top of the box - it fit perfectly! I also added some punched butterflies to the sides of the box to match the top.

So right about now you're probably wondering where the sneaks are, right? Well, I have good news and bad news! The bad news is that there are waaaaaaayyyyy too many photos to add to the blog! I would have to do one collection per day just like Bo Bunny does on their blog! So since I need to show sneaks of all the new releases, I decided to "turn on" all the Bo Bunny products in the Coming Soon category! That's the good news - by the way! I didn't have time to add in the product descriptions just yet, but they will be in there soon! The new Bo Bunny is not expected in stock until late August. We will begin taking pre-orders around the second week of August. Be sure you are signed up for your product notifications and we will send you email updates!

Did I mention something about a giveaway? I did, didn't I? Okay, let's see, go take a look at all the new Bo Bunny products. After you look at them all, leave me a comment about which one is your favorite - you know - the one you can't wait to get your hands on! Imaginisce!

Happy Tuesday! I can already tell this is going to be a busy week! My kids go back to school Monday and I've been running around trying to get everything done... all in the midst of CHA! My life seems to be a perpetual Murphy's Law!

Anyway... we have some wonderful Tuesday inspiration for you from our newest Design Team member: Teri Berrios! She couldn't wait to get started and boy what a start! Teri used the fun new Imaginisce Birthday Bash collection to create a double-page layout and a mini-album for her daughter's birthday! Check out her gorgeous work:

Teri used the Imaginisce Birthday Bash collection papers and embellishments along with the i-Rock for this double-page layout. Check out all that bling! Teri also used her Imaginisce i-Top to create the "9", "2" and "Party" brads in the centers of the flowers! What an amazing amount of work!

Happy B-Day to Me Mini Album by Designer Teri Berrios















Teri used the Imaginisce Birthday Bash collection papers and embellishments for this mini-album of her daughter's 9th birthday. What a great way to display all of those extra pictures that won't fit on your layout! Wow! Teri does some amazing work and she takes fantastic photos! Thanks so much for sharing, Teri! Monday Inspiration

Happy Monday! Wow, CHA starts tomorrow! If you're going, you're probably already there. We're skipping the Summer show, but watch out L.A.! We are definitely going to the Winter show in Los Angeles next January!

Andra used the Basic Grey Oliver 6x6 Paper Pad to make this wall hanging for one of her neighbors. I love how this turned out! Great work, Andra!

Design Team Inspiration and another Basic Grey Sneak!

Happy Friday! TGIF! You know what I just realized? My kids only have one week of summer vacation left! Where has the time gone? My kids have one of those semi-yearly school calendars. They only get 8 weeks of summer vacation, but they get a fall break, their Thanksgiving break is actually a week long instead of just two days, another 2 weeks off at Christmas and 2 weeks off for spring break! It's better for memory retention and it works for us too (much less boredom!!!)

Andra used the fun new Basic Grey Olivia collection for this layout! Love all the pinks and the pattern on the bottom! Oh, and check out that gorgeous Prima butterfly! Great work, Andra!

Party by Designer Sandi Clarkson

Sandi created this layout using the Basic Grey Sugar Rush collection and Basic Grey Doilies. Sandi actually created this for the doily challenge I suggested over at StuckOnUSketches! I love her use of the doilies not only as the background for her photo, but also as the greenery at the base of her flower! Great work, Sandi! Isn't her granddaughter just the cutest little thing?!

A Grandmother's Love Blooms Forever by Designer Nanne Harry

Nanne used the gorgeous Basic Grey Indian Summer Paper and Doilies also for the doily challenge at SOUS! Love the colors, love the sketch, love those handmade roses! Nanne is going to have to teach me how to make those! Great work, as usual, Nanne!
