Basic Grey, Hero Arts Inspiration and a Giveaway!

It's Friday, it's Friday! Woo-Hoo! The best day of the week!

Today we have some Basic Grey Oliver & Olivia inspiration from Designer Andra Hoffman! Andra has been on vacation for her birthday, but took her scrappy stuff with her so she could create! I always take mine with me, but there is little to no creating going on when I'm on vacation! Take a look at Andra's great layouts:

'GGGKathy and Ella' by Andra Hoffman

Andra used some Basic Grey Olivia papers for this bright and fun layout!

'So Happy' by Andra Hoffman

Andra used some Olivia papers and element stickers for this layout of her dgd. So cute!

'Hugs' by Andra Hoffman

Andra used the Oliver 6x6 Paper Pad for this layout. Way to go, Andra! These layouts are gorgeous! I can't believe that you got 3 done while you were on vacation!

Speaking of Basic Grey Olivia... I created 3 different cards using the same design with the 6x6 Olivia Paper Pad. I love making duplicates of cards! It's so handy to have them around for when you need a quick card for a special occasion! I also used a Hero Arts Cling Stamp and a Copic marker with some other markers. Take a look:

'Good Thoughts' Cards by GenCraft (Floren)

I love how these turned out! Since I used different papers, they look like different cards! I colored all of my little girls' hair dark brown, but you could easily color her hair with different markers on each card. I used the Copic Ciao Marker in Shock Pink to color her dress and used a different marker for the hearts, trim and her shoes.

So, are you ready for your chance to win? I bet you are! Leave us - me and Andra - a comment about our lovely work and you will have a chance to win:

Your very own Basic Grey Olivia 6x6 Paper Pad, Shock Pink Copic Ciao Marker and Hero Arts Little Girl Cling Stamp! Leave your comment by 11:59 pm Monday, September 6. We will have a random drawing and announce the winner on the blog on Tuesday! Good Luck!!!

We will be closed Monday, September 6 for Labor Day. Have a happy and safe holiday weekend!

Happy Crafting!

I really love the layouts. I especially love the buttons and frames. Very effective detailing.

I always enjoy series a series of cards using the one stamp or design. Amazing how you can get such a different look with varying just the papers and using different markers etc. These cards are super.

  10. There's something so relaxing and peaceful about scrapping in the great outdoors. At least during the day, cuz at night I was in our camper since we had many bears coming into the campground at night!

  24. LOL, good to see I am not the only one who takes scrappy's on vacation! I had a mom walk by our camp and ask if I was scrapping and then asked her hubby if she could come back and crop! She seemed shocked to see someone scrapping at camp. To me it's normal(I think?)
Joanna, I used the Imaginisce I-Rock tool and Compact gems to embellish the letters, from Generations Crafting ;)
